Painting dinosaurs

Halfway done. This is a beast to paint freehand lol. I'm used to painting girly things.

Chalk art

We made these awesome chalkboards out of maple cabinets that had glass inserts that had cracked. I love the possibilities and the inspiration that can come from just trying to repurpose an item that would normally end up in a trash pile. Upcycle and re-use when you can ;)

Getting Organized

I love to make things. LOVE. One thing I am not good at as I would like to be is organizing. I am getting my craft space back together and thought if I had pretty containers to keep my stuff in I would be inspired to keep things organized. I hope :) Here are some holders I made with saved cans from beans I used to make a pot of chili last week. I cleaned them, took of the paper and wrapped them with lace, adorned them with flowers and other pretty things like vintage buttons my friend Kay gave me and butterflies. I think they came out super elegant and useful to boot.

Pretties

I wanted to create a new blog so that my images could be larger. I think the pics look so much better that way. Here is my friend Allison, and she was kind enough to model these hair pretties for me. I love to make stuff. I have been crafty my whole life. So now photographing all my work is one more fun way to express myself. Thanks to my friend Kristen for helping me get this page started. I wish I would of know about blogger when I first started posting my stuff.
