Wedding Pillow

My friend in Seattle called me and asked if I could make her a handpainted pillow for her best friends wedding. The color theme would be pink, teal and stripes. She sent me a photo of the couple. I wish I could post the photo because it's such a cute painting of it.Here are some upclose details. I used vintage buttons and trims.

Vintage Pyrex blue horizon and an Orange reverse primary bowl

New Pyrex for me for Mother's Day! We went to the Pasadena Rose bowl. There wasn't much that was not really over priced. I was very happy to find these three vintage pieces that I do not have. I loooove them!!

Pillows for Winnie

We just got a old Winnebago that I wanted to give a fresh look to. Everything inside looks pretty nice and maintained despite being 20 years old. I've always dreamed of a travel trailer that I can update and re do. But this is still really nice and a fun project to make little updates to. I tried my hand at making some pillows with my vintage Pom Pom trim that I have been holding onto (ahhh hemmmmm hoarding lol) for a while. It's nice to see it added to a pillow with modern gorgeous fabric. One of my awesome clients mother made theblue afghan    for me. I absolutely love it :)

Calico Mining Town

I absolutely loved this place. More importantly my kid loved it. I highly recommend a field trip here. It's so family friendly and affordable. We went on three little tours, my husband, myself and True for around $32. Can't beat that. We had so much fun.

T REX hand painted crate

So here is the finished product for the T-Rex crate! I love all the layers of color. This would be fantastic at a dinosaur party to put drinks if you displayed it on a treat table. Great for storage for a little kids room. Possibilities are endless!!

Anchor Art {reclaimed wood crate}

This box was great to work on because I tend to want to paint soft colors and especially pinks.
    I based this box with a gorgeous shade of gray. I painted the anchor black, added red roses , accented the chain on the anchor with gold and glitter. I wrote the name in a yummy shade of aqua. It's a very pretty combination. I also put at the base inside the box a heart with the saying "you are loved"!

Chalk art

We made these awesome chalkboards out of maple cabinets that had glass inserts that had cracked. I love the possibilities and the inspiration that can come from just trying to repurpose an item that would normally end up in a trash pile. Upcycle and re-use when you can ;)

Fast and Easy and a look at what you can do with a scoring tool!

Downloaded the blogger app from the iTunes Store so that I can blog from anywhere I am and whenever I want. I also take most of my images of my art projects from my iPhone. I always
have it on my docking station while I am blasting music and painting.
     On to art.... Here are some cute DIY projects you can do that's inexpensive fast and easy! 💖
I use just scrap booking paper and the Martha Stewart scoring Board. It's available at Staples, Joanne's, Amazon. It runs about 24.99 and I love it! I just add my vintage buttons and it's a little piece of pretty everyone loves. I add them to packages and thank you cards etc. happy crafting! Have a blessed day ;)
